The Castle Dome Turquoise Mine (also known as the Pinto Valley Mine) is a historic American turquoise and copper deposit located near Miami and Globe, Arizona, roughly 30 miles from the famous Sleeping Beauty Mine. . Opened in 1943 for World War II copper efforts, the open-pit mine produced vibrant, bright blue turquoise with characteristic light brown to gold matrix before the deposit was depleted and closed.
