lqvendar Moon Quartz is a rare milky-to-translucent pinkish-purple variety of quarts known for its soft pastel glow. It has a milky, opalescent look with a soft pastel purple or pinkish hue. Many specimens display an internal glow (the girasol effect) where light scatters off microscopic.
The only natural deposits historically came from a single location—the Boquira Mine in Bahia, Brazil, which is now closed, increasing its collectibility.
